Your support can help us to inspire the next generation of enterprising young people.
What we can do for you...
Young Enterprise London has charitable links with leading UK companies which are beneficial to both parties in many important ways; the charity receives funding for its vital education work and the company is given the unique opportunity to team up with one of the UK's leading enterprise education providers.
Companies are usually driven by two incentives: profit and sustainable growth. However many companies' values and sense of community are now becoming as integral to its reputation as the financial bottom-line.
Working with Young Enterprise London presents many unique opportunities to promote your business and support your staff, including:
- Display of the company logo and details/web link on our website
Publicity in our publications - Raising awareness of the company's brand and profile to potential new employees and the communities they work in
- Boosting your staff moral by supporting your volunteers
- Providing Team Challenges for your employees that can be used as a team building tool
- Supporting the development of professional skills of your employees
- Assisting in the induction of your Graduate Trainees
Team opportunities for employees
People who work well together as a team are one of the most valuable assets any employer can have. There are many team building tools available but few are as satisfying, inexpensive and widely beneficial as a community school challenge.
Rather than spending large amounts of money on a conventional team building day, connecting with a local community school can provide both employers and teams with many benefits:
• Low cost
• An outstanding sense of achievement for all who take part
• A real team building experience
• An excellent PR opportunity
More and more companies, big and small, are now seeing the benefits of team volunteering challenges in their local community.
• Encourage communication between departments
• Motivating Team
• Team Building
• Challenging and fun
• Cost effective
• Value to youth development
• Presentation skills development
Every volunteer will receive a certificate of participation on the day of the event. Furthermore, active involvement with Young Enterprise as a Programme Volunteer can contribute as structured and unstructured hours towards CPD/CPE qualification requirements of many professional bodies including ACCA, CIMA, CII, ICAEW, ICSA, IPD, IEE, CIB, CIM, and CPS.
