Young Enterprise has three programmes for students in further education, each of which allows you to experience business and enterprise first hand. In each, a volunteer from business acts as a sounding board for your ideas and questions and offers you their real-life experiences and expertise.
In Company Programme and Team Programme, you get to experience the highs and lows of running your own real company whilst the Entrepreneurship Masterclass helps you develop your entrepreneurial skills and understanding when you come face-to-face with real entrepreneurs and business people and learn from their experiences.
Each programme helps you to develop your skills for business and the world of work and each can be used as an example that you have developed extra skills for your CV or University applications. There's even a Young Enterprise Company Programme Qualification (voluntary of course) so you can have a lasting record of your Young Enterprise achievements.
If you'd like to find out more about taking part in a Young Enterprise programme, ask your school or college. If they are not already a Registered Centre, all you have to do is ask them to contact your nearest Young Enterprise office and ask to become one.
