Higher Education Programmes

The Young Enterprise Graduate Programme allows students in Higher Education to have the opportunity to test-out self-employment and business creation through setting up and running their own company. The programme runs for one academic year in which time you and a group of colleagues set up in business, raise share capital, design and make a product or service and get it to market. Each company has the support of a business mentor on hand to advise and assist you as much or as little as you need.

Taking part in Graduate Programme can give you a chance to experience enterprise first hand and allows you the chance to develop the key skills employers look for in graduates. It could also be useful if you are thinking about setting up your own business in the future.

If you'd like to find out more about taking part in a Young Enterprise programme, ask your college or university. If they are not already a Registered Centre, all you have to do is ask them to contact your nearest Young Enterprise office and ask to become one.
