Edge is an educational
foundation promoting practical and vocational learning. As a key supporter
of Young Enterprise nationally, Edge has been instrumental in the development
of Young Enterprise’s QuickStart programme suite, and has funded
the development of QuickStart Music.
British Music Rights is an umbrella organisation whose four members
collectively represent more than 50,000 British music creators and publishers
in the UK. Supporting Young Enterprise both financially and through in-kind
support, BMR has worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the QSMusic
project, not least through campaigning, advising, and engaging BMR’s
network in its development.
SONY BMG Music Entertainment UK & Ireland is part of one of the largest music and entertainment companies in the world with a broad array of artists and a vast catalogue of recordings. Sony BMG has supported the Young Enterprise QuickStart Music programme by funding filming and providing access to their employees' time and experience.
NUMU is the safe online space for students to showcase their talents
and develop their Music skills. Together, Young Enterprise and
NUMU have developed a facility that enables QuickStart Music students
to use the NUMU network to licence and earn points from downloaded
tracks and promote artists and songwriters online. More information
