Sponsors needed to help Shropshire students shine
Each year up to 400 young people in Shropshire, aged between 15 and 19 take part in the Young Enterprise Company Programme.
One of this year’s Young Enterprise teams at their trade stand in Telford Shopping Centre.
Groups of students work in teams to form businesses which trade throughout the academic year and at trade stands at The Darwin Centre in Shrewsbury and Telford Shopping Centre. They will be setting up their stands for the last time at the West Mid Showground which will be hosting this year’s 50th Anniversary Young Enterprise Awards Celebration evening on 15th May.
Sponsors for many years include people like Dr. Geoffrey Davies, OBE of Alamo Group, Paul and Jenny Wynn of TTC Automotive, Mandy Thorn of Marches Care and Elaine Nester of Alpha Design. Regular supporters, such as Telford & Wrekin Council, Shropshire Council, the Shropshire Star, and Caterpillar Reman, will also be there again alongside new sponsors like Rockford IT, Serenity and Belton Cheese.
If you are interested in supporting our young people in Shropshire and would like to contribute to this event in some way, there are several sponsorship opportunities ranging from £35 to sponsor one seat to £350 to sponsor a table. Other options include sponsoring part of the event – menus, wine, programmes – sponsoring an award.- or providing a prize for the raffle.
