Welcome to Young Enterprise in the East of England

A dynamic region creating a new generation of young entrepreneurs

Young Enterprise is the East of England region’s foremost business and enterprise education charity. We work hard to ensure that young people have the opportunity to develop attitudes and skills they need to succeed in education, in work and in life.

Every year we give more than 17,000 students and more than 700 volunteers a taste of the world of work and enterprise. Whether you are a teacher who needs some help delivering work-related education or a business person who wants to help prepare young people to prosper in tomorrow’s economy, Young Enterprise is the organisation for you.

At Young Enterprise East of England we cover six counties and 48 Local Authority areas. Our work extends from Kings Lynn in the north, Watford in the south through to Southend on Sea in the East.

We have a dynamic, professional and committed staff team of Young Enterprise Managers based in every county in the East of England. They manage the delivery of our educational programmes and our relationships with schools and volunteers. We also have more than 15 local boards of volunteers who help deliver our flagship Company Programme.

PUPILS at Hillmead Primary in Bishop’s Stortford have been designing their own communities as part of a Young Enterprise project.

Team INNOV8 have created Innoclip, an innovative clip to prevent the loss of keys at the bottom of your bag.

Yolanda Rugg, Chief Executive of Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce said: “It was such a privilege being invited to judge, and sponsor the best presentations award however the bar was raised very high this year and was extremely close between the teams in several of the categories, which proved a tough debate for the judges. The feedback from the pupils endorsing the value of this program must not be underestimated, with particular reference to effective teamwork, and commercial acumen.”
