Yet another YE Richmond-Kingston team won the UK Company Programme final. Young Enterprise Richmond and Kingston local volunteer business advisers, centre leads and our area manager have since coached nine state and seven independent LB Richmond and Kingston schools and launched 21 new companies into our national Company Programme.
Kingston University’s traditionally successful YE start-up teams are very busy preparing for their December Dragons Den – 17 teams, 17 products, 17 pitches coming up. Remember that our secondary schools and undergraduates run this co-curricular activity to develop five key skills: Communication, Teamwork, Problem-solving, Creativity and Resilience.
Buying our teams’ products on YE e-commerce platform YE Marketplace is easy. Or come to our annual March 2018 Kingston trade fair!

On 31st January 2018, Young Enterprise Richmond and Kingston hosted their Mid Year briefing at Radnor House School in Twickenham. Alongside our tried and tested finance breakout session for Company Programme Finance Directors, our Area Manager Erwan Toulemonde updated achievers on the judging process, interviews, presentations, reports and trade stalls. The session’s highlight was our keynote speaker Luke Beresford-Ward of SAS Communications. Achievers switched on and went quiet when Luke briefed them on the dos and don’t’s of running an e-commerce shop profitably. Luke’s stimulating presentation could not have been more timely as Young Enterprise company teams have kicked off using our e-commerce platform YE Marketplace. Well done to Luke, our achievers, our local volunteers, our Area Manager and to Radnor House School for staging such a productive and enjoyable training event.
