Welcome to Young Enterprise in West of England. Our committed team works in partnership with local schools, businesses and volunteers to inspire and equip thousands of young people each year to learn and succeed through enterprise. Together we ensure that young people grow up with the life skills, knowledge and confidence they need to succeed in the changing world of work.

12 local schools are taking part in this year’s company programme – each is now trading. We need volunteers to support them (and next year’s teams) as business advisers (a weekly commitment), judges, and customers and we need local businesses to support them to make the programme affordable.
If you would like to know more about the programme, please go to the programme page

Our next events are:
Trade Fair at Cribb’s Causeway (1st floor, outside Boots in the Mall), Saturday, 9th March, 10-4pm
Area final at the Bristol & Bath Science Park, 1st May, 4-8pm
We regularly run half or full day masterclasses in local schools for whole year groups (up to 150 young people). These are designed to increase knowledge about work, develop employability skills, build self confidence and raise aspirations. There are three masterclasses available:
Each of these is supported by volunteer mentors who steer a table team of students through the challenges set. Last year 140 volunteers took part in eight schools.
Work is underway to set up a programme of events in 2019 – please contact Gillian if you’d like to be involved.
If you are a business and would like to support an event, a school or a whole programme, then get in touch – you’ll be in good company!
