QEGS students awarded for financial management
Pupils at Horncastle’s Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School were commended at the Young Enterprise evening held at Cordeaux School, Louth, for their financial management.
The company set up by students, Spectra, which creates specially designed card holders was given the financial management award sponsored by Forrester Boyd.
Although the team didn’t make it through to the next stage of the Young Enterprise competition, QEGS’ Head of Sixth Form Ged Forster said he was very proud of the efforts made by the school’s Young Enterprise groups.
“There were ten groups at the awards night, two of them from the school – Spectra and Polkadot,” he said. Read full story
