Talented students scoop enterprise awards
Young entrepreneurs from Boston Grammar School have beaten competition from other students in the area in an enterprise competition.
Three young enterprise companies from the school were among the groups taking part in the Young Enterprise Boston and South Holland Area Finals at Spalding High School – and one walked away with the prize for best company.
Velocity, led by Adam Bevan, also won trophies for best presentation and financial management. They will now go on represent the area at the county final at RAF Cranwell next month.
A spokesman for the school said: “Congratulations to all the participants.”
Haven High Academy also saw success in the event, on March 19, when students who had formed an eco-friendly company named sECOnd hand landed the environmental award and the innovation award.
