York school students win awards in North Yorkshire Young Enterprise Competition
Summit, a team from St Peter’s School, which set up a business selling clocks made out of posh shopping bags, won Best Company in the North Yorkshire finals of the HSBC Young Enterprise Innovation Awards 2012, as well as the Media Award and award for Best Trade Stand.
Burnholme Community College’s team, Top ‘n’ Tale, won the Teamwork Award.
Huntington School’s Clear Skies team won the Reports and Accounting Award, while Two 2 New, also from Huntington School, won the Customer Service Award.
Infinity, a team from King James’s School in Knaresborough, won the Best Presentation Award and Excellence In Leadership Award.
Fresh, from St Aidan’s School, Harrogate, won the Continuous Improvement Award and Beat Band, from Ampleforth College, won the Innovation Award. Read full story.
