Artesian Solutions CEO judges the UK finals of the Young Enterprise Start-Up Programme
Andrew Yates, CEO of Artesian Solutions (“Artesian”), a leading provider of cloud-based Social CRM software, was one of the judges for the UK finals of the Young Enterprise Start-Up Programme on Wednesday 15th May 2013, in Canary Wharf, London.
The Young Enterprise Start-up Programme gives students in higher education the chance to create their own company while still pursuing their studies. Over the period of an academic year undergraduates plan, create and run their own real firm with business advisers guiding them every step of the way. Many finish university with a fully-fledged business that forms the foundation of a successful long-term career.
Last year, Young Enterprise worked with 220,000 young people aged four to 25 in 5,000 schools, colleges and universities with help from volunteers from 3,500 businesses. The highly successful Start-Up scheme not only helps university students to launch their own business, but has also helped to trigger a surge in graduate self- employment.
