Liverpool’s Teabox company 2nd runner up in Europe’s Start-up competition
Seven Business and PR students from Liverpool John Moore’s Business School have been voted second runners up in a tough international business competition.
The online tea business selling high-quality, loose-leaf tea won the accolade at the Junior Achievement Europe Start Up contest in Liege, Belgium.
Teabox’s success comes after the firm were named UK Start Up Company of the Year in the British leg of the competition, which is supported by Santander.
The students set up their business in October 2012 as part of their Graduate Enterprise module led by Janet Farrow and Chris Taylor from the Business School and supported by LJMU’s Centre for Entrepreneurship.
