HRH The Duke of York invites Bishopshalt School to Buckingham Palace

Company Programme students from Bishopshalt School in Hillingdon were personally invited to Buckingham Palace by His Royal Highness The Duke of York for the Coronation Festival last week.

The Festival celebrated 60 years of tradition, innovation and excellence, with Her Majesty The Queen, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall all in attendance.

Students from team ‘Triangle’; Taylor Perry, Matthew Schlachter, Amar Gadar and Tamara Arekat attended the celebration along with their link teacher Frances Sinclair and Roy Howard, Young Enterprise Director of Programmes and Delivery.

The students spent the day exploring the grounds of the Palace and visiting the many Royal Warrant Holder stands across the four featured areas; Food and Drink; Design and Technology; Homes, Gardens and Style and Pursuits and Pastimes.

Frances said: “The students had a fantastic day visiting the stands, and were particularly delighted to have the opportunity to speak to HRH Prince Charles who congratulated them on their achievements in the Young Enterprise Company Programme.”
