Shetland enterprise teams’ weekend challenge
Four teams of Young Enterprise pupils in Shetland have started a 48-hour fund-raising challenge.
From 5pm the students have been set the task of doing “anything they want – as long as it’s legal” to raise money for the Young Enterprise area board. It will help cover the cost of local induction events and training days, as well as contributing to the cost of sending Shetland’s winning team to the Scottish finals in June.
Three teams from the Anderson High School and one from Brae are involved in the programme this year. The added incentive of this weekend’s fund-raising is that whichever team raises the most funds will receive 10 per cent of the total pot of money raised to inject into their new business.
