Vote to start something in the South West
RBS Inspiring Youth Campaign:
‘Start Something in the South West’ will provide opportunity for 1000 young people aged 13 – 16 from across the South West to start their enterprise journey. Young people, who may never have had the opportunity to participate in a Young Enterprise programme before, will improve employability skills such as leadership, project management and innovation.
Through meeting real local entrepreneurs and employers, participants will be empowered to take responsibility for their futures and consider self-employment as a realistic option. Young people will participate in an engaging, enjoyable entrepreneurial day where they will understand skills and attitudes essential to business success. Working in teams, with the support of local volunteers, pupils will present their enterprise ideas. The programme will raise the aspirations of young people from some of the more deprived or rural communities and help them to realise their full potential.
Please note Young Enterprise (South West) and Young Enterprise Scotland are separate organisations.
