Ink cooks up a storm in the “Varsity Pitch” final
Oxford Young Enterprise team creates interactive cookbook

INK, a Young Enterprise company from Oxford High School that produces innovative interactive cookbooks are among the seven finalists in a major enterprise competition.
The firm, one of the UK’s most exciting student startups, will compete in the culmination of NACUE’s Varsity Pitch Competition 2013 on Friday November 22 2013. The seven businesses in the last stage have already seen off over two hundred other entries via their category finals and will now pitch live against each other to get their hands on the £10,000 grand prize!
Their cookbook entitled Read. Watch. Cook., comprises 40 simple and delicious recipes and uniquely incorporates QR codes within it.
QR codes enable the user to scan the codes with a smartphone or tablet device, and to instantly watch internet videos of children watching said recipe.
They have now developed a cookbook aimed at students (Read.Watch. Cook: The Student Edition) and contains 40 cheap and easy recipes divided between the categories ‘food for one’ and ‘food for many’. Go to the Varsity Pitch website
