Newport Students look to Promote Young People in Business

Team specialises in providing social media services for local businesses on Twitter and Facebook.

social eyesSocialEyes are a group of 16-17 year old students from Adams’ Grammar School. We have taken the opportunity provided to us by Young Enterprise, an initiative to promote young people in business, to set up our own company operating within the Newport area. We specialise in providing social media services by representing their businesses on Twitter and Facebook.

We have found that small-medium sized local businesses often are so busy in the day-to-daytasks associated with running their businesses that they simply do not have the time to spend on social media and marketing.Help with the daunting and time consuming task of setting up and maintaining social media sites can be a great relief to such companies as well as offering them an opportunity to engage and communicate with their target markets.

Our primary focus is to work closely with clients to help them succeed in gaining a strong social media presence and significant following within in the local area in order to promote their products and services to a wider audience. Our aim is to increase client brand awareness within the local population by using our established contacts for ‘follow backs, shout outs and mentions’.

In recent weeks we have acquired several clients in the local area, whom we look forward to building strong professional relationships with over the coming months;we hold regular meetings with our clients to ensure our online portrayal of their business is in line with their vision for their business, as well as providing the clients with an opportunity to make us aware of any news or promotions they are running so that we can include such in their social media plan and feed.

Social media can build a strong brand identity for businesses and their products or services. It can also provide a fantastic opportunity for a business to interact with its customers, to gain feedback and to become more visible to a greater number of consumers.

As a team, we have the knowledge and skills to utilise both Facebook and Twitter to help local businesses grow their social media presence. Through the use of these platforms, a large number of new customers will potentially be able to access your business, helping to expand your customer base.
