Andrew McGregor of DWF Liverpool Wins Gold
The Gold Awards recognise the outstanding contributions made by volunteers and educators in supporting Young Enterprise to achieve its mission to “inspire and equip young people to succeed through enterprise”.
Andrew said; “Young Enterprise is a fantastic organisation and it’s an honour to have received this award. The Start Up Programme is a great opportunity for undergraduates to experience the journey of creating a company, particularly with its focus on entrepreneurial and commercial skills, and the relationship also allows younger members of the DWF team to develop important skills such as project management and presentation skills – the success of the relationship to date could not have been achieved without their buy-in and support.”
It’s no coincidence that DWF Liverpool with its commitment to the community also won the prestigious Volunteering Business of the Year in the North West Responsible Business Awards 2014 organised by Business in the Community, and Young Enterprise is pleased to be a key part of that story!
