Carmel College enterprise scoops trade fair award
A GROUP of young Darlington entrepreneurs have been crowned the most creative company at a regional trade fair.
The team of 19 students from Carmel College have been making and selling vintage and homemade household items, jewellery and accessories as part of a Young Enterprise scheme.
Trading under the name of Vintage ViBiz, the students make and sell vinyl bowls made from old records, bracelets made from old ring can pulls, bags made from fair trade materials as well as beaded rings and earring holders. All items are also hand wrapped in recycled paper. Read full story
