Dragon’s Den star launches the Tenner Relay in Glasgow

Dragon’s Den star Duncan Bannatyne launched the Tenner Relay at Castlehill Primary School in Glasgow on Tuesday 4th February.

Duncan said: “I think its important to teach anything to children at a young age, so that they are learning and doing things.

“Any education is fantastic.  When you start doing something when you are young, you do it much better than anyone who started much much older than you.”

The pupils held a car wash, using their £10 pledge to buy sponges and put up posters in the local area. They raised £540.52 from their tenner, setting the bar high for Kelloe County Primary School in Durham, who have the tenner next on Monday 10th February.
