Jobs for teenagers website’s a winner

Switched-on students showed they had their finger on the pulse when they created a Young Enterprise company to run a website advertising jobs for teenagers, and approached local firms for sponsorship support.

The business-savvy squad from Berkhamsted School were crowned Dacorum area champs for their bright idea, and now go on to the county final in June.

Also in the running at a finals event at Apsley’s Paper Trail, sponsored by Hemel Hempstead environmental consultants RSK, were a team from Longdean School who produced a CD featuring music from local bands and pupils from John F. Kennedy School who sold phone covers, bracelets and photography.
