Lichfield young entrepreneurs win national innovation award
BUDDING entrepreneurs from King Edward VI School in Lichfield are celebrating their success in a national Young Enterprise competition.
The sixth form business students, who have created a board game Hazar! through their business The Big Board Company, have been declared overall winners in the Young Innovators Awards 2013.

The team were runners-up in the Southern Staffordshire Young Enterprise Awards in May and were invited to London to represent the West Midlands in a competition against six other businesses.
There, they submitted a video of their business presentation together with a company report, they set up their trade stand and were interviewed by a panel of judges including Alex Dundsdon, former head of strategy at M&C Saatchi and Bindi Karia, vice president at Accelerator, Silicon Valley Bank.
