Local Entrepreneur Awarded for Commitment to Young Enterprise
Local Dronfield entrepreneur, Mike Webster, was awarded the Volunteers’ Gold Award at this year’s Young Enterprise Company Programme Awards, held in Doncaster – South Yorkshire.
Mike received the award in recognition of his dedication and commitment to Young Enterprise, having been a volunteer for over 11 years. Mike who has a busy life running his own companies and other volunteering has always found time to support entrepreneurial younger generations.
During his time with Young Enterprise, Mike has been a Business Adviser to the Company, Team and Start Up Programmes, delivered Master Classes, workshops and helped organise Trade fairs in South Yorkshire. With one of his groups, he even acquired the nickname ‘Lord Sugar’! Mike has also been an invaluable member of the South Yorkshire Board for 7 years and has been heavily committed to fundraising to support local teams.
