London students win the Deutsche Bank Young Entrepreneurs final

Deutsche Bank’s support of the programme is part of the Bank’s youth engagement programme, which enables young people from disadvantaged areas and backgrounds to fulfil their potential.

As part of the exciting competition, over 2,000 students aged between 14 and 19 years from schools in London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Glasgow and Edinburgh have been given expert help to start their own businesses by Deutsche Bank business mentors.

The pupils, who started working intensively on their business ideas in September 2012, have spent the past six months creating and nurturing their companies from scratch – doing everything from product development to marketing to holding board meetings and running accounts, all alongside their school work.
