Pupils bid for a lot of lolly
Devizes School pupils are demonstrating entrepreneurial skills by taking part in a national competition.
Between 15 and 20 students are joining the Tenner challenge, in which students are given £10 to set up their own business and have one month to make it a success.
It is the first time Devizes School pupils have taken part in the challenge.
Teacher Charlaine Rich-ards said: “We have seven different groups of students in Year 7, 8 and 9 taking part.
“Some are making cakes and lollies, some are offering car washes while one student is making customised graphics to mark on phones. They are writing to companies asking for support and are loving the challenge.”
