Use this toolkit to find out how to plan a participatory budgeting project with young people in formal or informal settings, whether you have one hour or a number of sessions. Both English and Welsh versions available in the download.
This Toolkit introduces participatory budgeting and sets out a rights-based rationale for why it can be good for young people. Participatory budgeting represents an opportunity for young people to get involved in making decisions about how to spend the budgets that affect them. It goes beyond being a ‘tool’ and can represent a cultural shift in how you consider and act upon the rights of young people in budgetary decisions.
