Stourport young enterprise company take home three awards
A YOUNG enterprise company from Stourport High School has won three awards at a national competition.
Shape won the entrepreneurship, sustainability and marketing awards for their shredded bank notes jewellery.
Nine schools competed across Herefordshire and Worcestershire with The Kings School, in Worcester, scooping the best company prize at the finals at County Hall.
Shape won £50 for the entrepreneurship award, supported by Worcestershire Ambassadors, £75 for the sustainability award, supported by Rupert Brakspear of Worcestershire County Council and £50 for the marketing award, supported by Stourport-based Thomas Vale Construction.
Wyre Forest Young Enterprise Manager Joy Willetts said: “I am very proud of their achievements this year and would also like to thank their teacher Cat Pearson because without her support this would not have been possible.”
