The greatest enterprise competition for teenagers is open for business from Monday December 2!

From that date everyone in the UK under the age of 19 is invited to register for Tenner. It’s a nationwide competition to find the next generation of budding business stars.

The Tenner Challenge is for young people who want to get a taste of what it’s like to be an entrepreneur. It gives them a chance to think of a new business idea and make it happen, using real money to take risks in the business field, make a profit – and make a difference to their local comunities. Tenner is a national competition and young people from all over the country can get involved.

This is the second year that Young Enterprise, Britian’s largest enterprise education charity, has run Tenner. An astonishing 26,000 signed up to take the tenner in 2013 and we want to make it bigger and better in March 2014.

The Challenge is open to young people aged 5 – 19 years.  Students are pledged a start up capital of £10 from the Tenner Bank to set up their own business.  They are encouraged to make a social impact and as much profit as possible within 4 weeks.

This website will be updated constantly, so keep your eyes peeled.

We have prepared some extra special surprises for you this year. You will need to keep returning to the Tenner website or Tenner tweets to keep up with our news.

Some big names have promised to get involved – and they will be helping you to break into the business big time by offering you their tips and entrepreneurial tricks – in person!

Watch out – the people who printed your tenner in the first place have also go their eye on you!
