Target age group: 11 – 18
Key stage: 3, 4 and 5
Group size: flexible; class or year group
Length: 3 – 6 hours

This Masterclass helps students get to grips with how a particular industry works, the skills needed to build a successful career and what job opportunities are available. It features a series of challenges designed to provide students with an insight into how business works in a specific sector, examples include construction, engineering or the airline industries. These practical activities help students reflect on what they learned and how these skills can be applied in future work and life.

The sessions are bought to life by volunteers who come in from local businesses who provide inspiration and act as role models as they share their experiences of industry first-hand with students.
