PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO CONSENT
While attending YE events as part of this programme there may be photographs taken or video recording taking place.
To ensure compliance with YE policy, the express permission of parents / guardians must be obtained when videoing or photographing under 18s or vulnerable adults, when it is possible to identify that individual. When registering your student companies you will be asked to choose from the following options
- Young Enterprise is named on the school/college consent form as an organisation that will take photographs throughout the year. A senior member of school/college staff will complete the declaration form to confirm that the school/college has permission from parents / guardians to take photos. The school/college will return the completed form to the local Young Enterprise Manager at or before the first external YE event.
- School/College will contact all parents/guardians directly with the consent form for completion and will return completed forms to the local Young Enterprise Manager at the first externally hosted YE event.
In either case, it is the school/college’s responsibility to obtain the necessary consent forms for under 18 year olds and to make Young Enterprise aware of any individuals we do not have consent forms for or who have refused consent. Consent will last for the duration of the programme and it is the responsibility of the school/college to let us know if an individual’s circumstances change.
