Young Enterprise Board Member’s 10k charity run
Two Young Enterprise supporters raised £350 for us in the first Caerphilly 10k on the 23rd June.
Volunteers Antony Bolter and Nathan Webb donned their running shoes to take on the challenge in aid of Young Enterprise after seeing first hand how students benefit from our programmes.
Antony also raised £1000 for us last year by running the BUPA 10k in London; his first of that distance.
He said: “It’s been a pleasure to volunteer for Young Enterprise over the years. The work the charity does in preparing young people for the world of work is essential, particularly during the current economic climate.
“The run was a challenge but worth it for such a good cause. ”
Antony has been involved with Young Enterprise for nearly ten years, as a business adviser in local schools and as a board member for Caerphilly, Blaenau Gwent and Torfaen, and for a period as a board member for Young Enterprise Wales.
Nathan is a business volunteer at Pontllanfraith Comprehensive in Caerphilly and MD of Anytime Films in Ebbw Vale. This is his first year volunteering for Young Enterprise.
