Young Enterprise’s Tenner shortlisted for major award

Brilliant digital campaign by Bladonmore agency rivals industry elite

Young Enterprise has been shortlisted for a prestigious communications award in recognition of its successful Tenner campaign designed by the talented Bladonmore agency.

We are up for the “Best Use of Digital Media” prize in the CorpComms Awards 2013. The Awards are recognised as the leading scheme rewarding excellence among in-house communications professionals.

It is going to be no easy task to carry off the top prize as the other firms competing for the prize are McDonalds, EDF Energy, Tarmac and Reckitt.

The fact that Tenner’s engagingly contemporary and distinctive branding, website, language and associated promotional materials has made it into the final run off with such prominent companies is a huge accolade in itself.

This is all the more remarkable since the finalists were aided by the elite of Britain’s communications and PR agencies who all command six figure fees – including  Blue Rubicon, Bell Pottinger and Weber Shandwick.

Paul Eastham, Head of Communications at Young Enterprise said: “It is remarkable that a charity of our size has made it into this elite company – and it is a huge tribute not only to Bladonmore’s extraordinary talents but also their generosity that we have achieved this and the fabulous support we received from our volunteers, link teachers and the 26,000 young people who signed up.

“We will be accepting registrations for the 2014 competition from December 2 – and we have some amazing new digital tricks to unveil to make the coming year’s Tenner even more exciting and stare-of-the-digital art than before.”

  • The eighth annual CorpComms Awards will be presented on 27 November at a gala dinner in the Art Deco splendour of the Troxy, on the fringes of the City. The host for the event is Mock the Week regular Milton Jones. Jones, who has co-written and performed in nine of his own radio series for BBC Radio 4, is a past Perrier Best Newcomer, the recipient of two Sony Awards and a British Comedy Award nominee.
