Young entrepreneurs take to the market with their goods
“Although it is wet and cold, we have already sold £50 worth of stock"
Three schools sent teams of aspiring young entrepreneurs out to sell their goods to the public in Boston Market Place recently.
Haven High Academy’s group Glass Beauty was selling hand-made crystal bead bracelets while the Giles School was selling chocolates and roses.
Boston Grammar School’s team was selling its selling household products.
Managing director of Glass Beauty Hannah Pryor said: “Although it is wet and cold, we have already sold £50 worth of stock and we are really please with comments from customers. It is great to see the rewards for all of our hard work”
The three companies were made up of a group of students who are taking part in the national Young Enterprise Company programme.
The stalls for each team were provided by Boston Borough Council.
