Enterprising minds. Work-ready futures.

Supported by £10m Product and Public Liability insurance, students make all major decisions about their student company, from sourcing start up capital to choosing director roles, launching a product or service and managing their company finances.

As part of the programme, students can set up their student company business current account with Card One Money, and sell to the public at in-person events and our online store, YE Trading Station. Step-by-step tasks, activities and resources are available on our dedicated platform, Company Connect, where students manage their company profile together.

Subject to availability, a YE business volunteer (with a valid DBS) will be allocated to offer additional support. Multiple student companies can run from the same school, college or centre with up to 32 students per team. Student companies can participate in competitions at a local, county and regional level to win a place at our Company of the Year national final.

You can find the Terms and Conditions and governing Operating Framework here.

"The best thing about taking part in Company Programme is the experience I have gained from working in a team. I enjoyed the process of planning different aspects of our product and watching it come to life as we put it all together. Watching our product sell out felt like a big achievement and made me feel so proud of our hard work."
