Pocket Money Adventures

Pocket Money Adventures helps children build the habit of pausing before they spend, through primary school programmes for ages 4 to 7 and family sessions for the whole household in community settings, from its base in Staffordshire. The school programme opens with a facilitated Spark Session in the classroom, built around Ava Saves Up!, in which Ava learns to stop, think and choose before the money goes. The class teacher then runs one short Sidekick activity a week for six weeks, about fifteen minutes a week including preparation, with an A2 classroom poster, teacher cards and parent fridge cards. Four optional Family Missions go home in the first four weeks so that children and the adults who look after them leave with the same words. Every school receives a School Delivery and Learning Report at the end. The programme sits alongside existing financial education resources and is free to schools through business sponsorship. Free printable activities, including large print and one-to-one versions, are available to anyone without sign-up.

Age range 4 to 7 (Reception to Year 2). Free to schools, sponsor-funded. Delivery in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent; free resources UK-wide.
