Employability Masterclass helps students understand the skills and qualities that are required to be successful in the workplace, and build awareness of how to present the very best version of themselves throughout an application process.

Students will consider a range of approaches to job hunting, how they can recognise and describe their  own personal strengths and abilities and how to showcase their skills and experience to employers. They will learn top tips for writing compelling applications, CVs and cover letters. 

Volunteers from the world of work they will share their experiences as recruiters, managers  and job hunters and provide realistic support.

Employability Masterclass can contribute to Gatsby Benchmark 6 by providing students with employer-led, structured experiences that help build workplace skills, build knowledge and confidence to succeed in the workplace, and offer insights into the world of work.
