Money Skills

What makes Money Skills unique is its family-centred approach. Built with inclusivity and parental engagement in mind, the programme opens the door for meaningful conversations about money at home, giving parents and children the tools to explore these topics together in their everyday lives.

The programme consists of 42 topics - six for each year group from Reception to Year 6 - organised into six engaging strands that are released termly throughout the school year.

Each topic includes a short video (under two minutes) and three practical, off-screen activities designed for families to do together. Activities range from conversations and role plays to games and real-world experiences—like making a purchasing decision in a shop or starting to save for something special. All activities are designed with minimal or no cost in mind, and families are encouraged to adapt them to fit their own contexts and routines.

Teachers schedule topics for their class, and parents receive an email with a link to the videos and activities, which they can view on any device. After trying the activities, families can provide feedback and upload photos for teachers to see—creating a meaningful loop between home and school.

Learning with Parents is proud to be accredited with the Young Enterprise Financial Education Quality Mark, a recognition of its commitment to delivering high-quality, impactful learning that truly engages families.
