International Women’s Day

We’re championing brilliant women to inspire the next generation of female entrepreneurs. We all play a significant part in advancing gender equality. YE is championing businesswomen to inspire the next generation of female entrepreneurs. This work is to ensure an inclusive world where diversity is valued, and workplaces exist where women’s careers can thrive.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

This year’s theme of International Women’s Day is #ChooseToChallenge, so we’re championing brilliant women who are challenging the norm in business.

This year’s campaign kicks off an important conversation for thousands of young women who have started – or are thinking about starting – their entrepreneurial journey with Young Enterprise. We’ll be sharing the real-life stories behind some of our most inspirational female entrepreneurs, business leaders and Young Enterprise alumni, responding to questions and helping aspiring female entrepreneurs overcome challenges and barriers to success.

“Having relatable mentors is really important, if they’re too far removed, it doesn’t resonate with the day to day challenges you are facing as an entrepreneur.”
“I’m not the typical image of a Bank CEO but that’s the point, nor should I be. Nor should there be an image. It should be whoever is the right person for the job and the talent to do it and we all need to challenge these stereotypes and unconscious bias that exists.”Alison Rose #ChooseToChallenge #RoseReview #WomenInBusiness
