National Association of Money Advisors

NASMA members across the country have just concluded their flagship campaign National Student Money Week. The theme of this year’s campaign was “Expect the unexpected” with the aim of raising financial resilience amongst students in light of the pandemic. This year the campaign was a virtual one with a social media and communications plan that spanned the whole of February-allowing institutions to select the best week for them.

We were supported by the financial education platform Blackbullion and also supported by Barclays. Blackbullion ran two free webinars for all students and a centralised webpage was created to host all of the campaigns free resources and information: https://www.nationalstudentmoneyweek.com/

In addition, Money Advice Scotland created a webinar series for Scottish students, and SAAS also get provided support during the latter weeks in February.
