Team Programme is an enterprise journey for students who have mild to moderate learning difficulties. Designed to aid young people’s transition from education into independent living and employment, the programme develops confidence and life skills through working as a team to set up and run an enterprise


  • Suitable for 15 – 19 year old’s
  • Key stages 4 & 5
  • Up to 25 students per company
  • Multiple student companies can be run from the same school, college or centre
  • Flexible timing up to one academic year

Learning outcomes:

  • Gain confidence in handling money and understanding of numbers in a practical context
  • Develop confidence to communicate and interact with people in a variety of situations including working as part of a team
  • Understand and develop essential life skills to help with transition into employment or independent living
  • Gain self-awareness to recognise personal strengths, preferences, areas for personal development and what can be offered to future employers
  • Evidence the skills section of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme
