The Employability Masterclass provides an opportunity for students to learn from local employers and employees about the skills and qualities that are required to be successful in the workplace and to build a broader understanding of the workplace and employment. From September 2020 we have adapted the programme so it can be delivered either in school or as a digital programme – find out more below.

In School Delivery

  • A fully trained and safeguarded member of staff will deliver the programme
  • It provides opportunities for live employee engagement, either face-to-face or via video link
  • There are a wide range of small group work activities facilitated throughout the day
  • 5-6 hours delivery time

Digital Programme

  • Students can our access digital learning platform either from home or using individual equipment in school
  • The full digital programme consists of seven units and takes around 2 hours to complete. This can be completed in bite-size chunks
  • Includes integrated employee encounter videos
  • Provides the opportunity for teacher led live employee engagement via video link
  • Students receive a certificate on completion
  • 1.5 – 2 hours delivery time
