Below you will find tools and Quality Mark resources produced by us and the organisations we support that can be used by educators in formal and non-formal settings, parents/carers and children and young people themselves.

Me, my life and my money

7 – 11 Quality Mark

The resource includes lecture-style presentation slides with key information on different aspects of financial education, followed by teacher and pupil discussions and debates and encourages independent research by pupils.  It includes cross-curricular topics such the history and geography of bank notes and provides guidance about spending, budgeting and debt.  It comprises of a teacher manual including pupil handouts and homework tasks and a separate pupil-facing PowerPoint presentation with facilitator notes.

Developing Financial Futures

11 – 19 Quality Mark

With the support of Leicester City Council, we've refreshed Developing Financial Futures. The resource has been developed to support the delivery of financial education to vulnerable young people and be flexible and adaptable to different settings.

Family Workshop

4 – 19 Quality Mark

With the support of Leicester City Council, we've developed a set of resources to support a 90-minute workshop, designed to help families explore money learning in the home. The workshop focuses on helping families explore money learning together. Parents/carers will discover ways to include their children in everyday discussions and actions related to money thereby improving both their children's financial capability and in turn, their own too. The content is adaptable for parents/carers with children of any age and contains activities that are easily deliverable by non-educators and non-financial education experts.

Where Money Comes From and Making Wise Choices – KS1 Lesson Packs

This resource includes two complete lesson packs for Key Stage 1 pupils, covering the important topics of Where money comes from and Making wise choices.  Each lesson pack includes a detailed lesson plan, accompanying PowerPoint presentation, and printable PDF activity sheets and resources to support delivery of the lesson. There are also Parent Postcards to encourage families to talk about money at home.

11 – 16+ Quality Mark

A flexible resource, inclusive of editable activity sheets that can be completed digitally by secondary students, with mild to moderate special educational needs. The resource aims to develop their understanding of managing their money, making financial decisions, staying safe online and the world of work.

Managing My Money for Young Adults

15 – 19 Quality Mark

This is a free online Open University course designed to give 15-19 year olds personal financial management skills and the confidence to take control of their finances whether still studying, starting work or an apprenticeship or planning to go to university.

11 – 19 Quality Mark

LifeSkills created with Barclays, the free employability and financial capability programme, have created a suite of Money skills resources for KS3, KS4 and KS5. These lessons are designed to help teachers introduce students to financial capability skills and prepare them for life beyond education.
