Developing Vocational Enterprise and Experience in Further Education
Our programmes offer a huge variety of enterprise experiences
Today’s students need to be more enterprising and adaptable than ever before. Young Enterprise programmes equip students in Further Education with the skills, attitudes and entrepreneurial experience to build successful careers, achieve real business success or foster key personal and enterprise skills for their future.
Our renowned Company Programme helps them set up and run a real firm for up to a year under the guidance of a Young Enterprise Business Adviser. It’s the ultimate business enterprise experience, with the option to gain a recognized qualification along the way.
Students studying vocational courses in Further Education Colleges can also take part in Start-Up. A similar programme to Company, students aged 17 – 25 get the unique opportunity to set up and run a real business for a year.
Our programmes offer a huge variety of enterprise experiences from our trademark Company Based packages, through to our 1 day or modular employability and personal effectiveness classes, experience and learning that could help FE students launch themselves into their first enterprise.
FE Colleges and Training Providers currently engage with us on a number of programmes including the Company Programme, Start-Up and Team Programme – our programme for young people with disabilities and learning difficulties, as well as our Entrepreneurship Masterclass and Industry Masterclass which offer a variety of themed workshops, for example business start-up, employability skills and industry specific challenges.
