Young Money Challenge 2020 (now closed)

In our inaugural year, we explored the connection between money management and environmental sustainability.

The Challenge was hugely successful, with around 1000 children and young people participating across the UK. We were extremely impressed by the outstanding entries, and overwhelmed by the passion shown by young people for money management, the environment, and their communities.

After much deliberation, and with thanks to Capita and a very special panel of judges who helped us with this particularly difficult task, we chose our 9 winning entries.

Check out our incredible winning entries below!

A huge thank you to our fantastic panel of Challenge 2020 judges:

  • Phil Andrew, CEO, StepChange
  • Vanessa Murden, Managing Director, Group Customer Services, Lloyds Banking Group
  • John Henderson, CEO, Staffordshire County Council
  • Ian McLaughlin, CEO, Bank of Ireland
  • Neil Hayward, HR Director, High Speed 2 Ltd

Congratulations to all our winners! The judges didn’t have an easy job at all as the quality of entries was particularly high but your passion, creativity and comprehensive understanding of responsible consumerism made your submissions absolutely stand out! Check out the winners’ incredible entries, and hear from them and their teachers about why they found taking part in the Challenge so rewarding!
